A fantastic event in the Goring and Streatley calendar and one that we are very proud to support.

For two small villages we have an interesting variety of excellent restaurants, cafes, pubs and hotels. There are also a surprising number of food and drink producers within a few miles.

The festival celebrates the vibrant food and drink scene in the area that just keeps getting better and better. Could we be the latest foodie hotspot? – we think so!

This is the second Goring and Streatley Food and Drink Festival and promises to be a spectacular event. You only have to look at the line up of celebrity chefs, list of food and drink exhibitors and schedule of events to see how many people are involved and how much everyone really wants this to be a great success.

Whether you are looking for deicious food to try, locally produced drinks, fun for the kids or just a great family day out there really is plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Credit to food photographer Shannon Robinson and her team for volunteering time and energy to make this happen, purely out of a love of food, drink and community spirit.

As the activities are spread all across the villages most of the festival is free to enjoy. A small charge is made for the chef demonstrations, drinks masterclasses and kids kitchen cookery school.

Here at Rossini at the Leatherne Bottel we will be open as usual for lunch on 9th September and open all day for coffee, drinks and pastries. Vintage Days Out are running regular boats from our mooring to the Swan at Streatley taking people right into the heart of the festival.

We have plenty of parking and we’re also right by the Park and Ride car park so please do drop in and say hello en route to the festival. We’d love to see you.
